Denver Green Festival: Ticket offers for Colorado EcoDeaf Readers!
Come learn about sustainability, reducing your carbon footprint, recycling, organics, avoiding sweatshops, socially responsible investing, and more. You'll find kids' activities, an organic and vegetarian food court, a Green Home Pavilion, Green Teen Pavilion, bike fashion show, and Fair Trade producer tour -- plus hundreds of green businesses offering everything from recycled elephant-dung paper to organic hemp clothing to solar roofing tiles.
Main stage speakers like Gov. Ritter, Mayor Hickenlooper, environmental hero Hunter Lovins, author Alan Weisman, actor/activist Mike Farrell, and ten others will all be ASL-interpreted, with additional interpreters on-site for smaller workshops or one-on-one, as availability permits.
Special for our first-ever Denver Green Festival, a local interpreter has donated ten free Green Festival tickets to the Deaf community. The first ten EcoDeaf readers to write to me (andrew@greenamericatoday.org) can claim these free tickets (limit two per person).

Singing and songwriting is my thing. I write usually about ecological concepts. With a little luck I will be invited to sing some of my songs at eGlobal 2010 in Washington DC in the spring. This will be an Energy Efficiency gathering of countries of the Earth. If anyone knows how this can easily happen please e-mail me at watersongs@mac.com. I need to find information on the performances that will be presented at eGlobal along with an organizer name and address and phone number so I might apply to perform my solar focused music. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about eGlobal 2010. This is new to me. I am very interested in looking it up. I will see what I can do from there to get you in to perform your songs. Thank you so much for introducing eGlobal 2010 to us. We'll be sure to put it on EcoDeaf under event and hope that you will perform too!
