Sweet. Isn't it wonderful that people participated in this? It not only helped the Earth, but it also helped us "unplug" and get back to connecting in real life. :)
Well nothing much but more special when I got the chance to play cards with my dear mom... 31 and Kings in the Corners. Mom is well in her early 80's I want to spend every moments with her as I can.
Earth hour brought us closer and laughs again. FYI she beat me on game "31" and I beat her Kings in the Corner.
Yes, Earth Hour was certainly a way for us to take a breather and go for a slower pace in life. It also was a time to have a lil fun with family and friends all in the name of Mother Earth. Feel free to have more Earth Hours!
Check out the post about InterNational DownShifting Week - another opportunity to "unwind" a little bit.
We fell asleep as soon as the lights went out. That made me wonder about our natural clocks, that is, without artificial lights would we all go to bed earlier?
